Hundebiss Night : Miin Amor

MIIN---AMOR (undercore endorser - Naples)    Bandcamp

is the solo project of Fabrizio Zullo, a Neapolitan producer and songwriter born in 2004, one half of Specchiopaura and co-founder of Superbapistola. Initially conceived alongside Giuseppe Mangiarulo (@peppe.storto) as a space to explore the darker, more oblique side of Specchiopaura’s sonic experimentation, MIIN---AMOR has gradually evolved into an autonomous territory of its own. Dark ambient, deconstructed hip-hop, melodic electronics, and layers of synths coexist in productions that bend heterogeneous sources and languages into a digital, nonlinear sonic body. At its core lies “Modern Sonic Overstimulation”: a contemporary form of sonic overstimulation that the project does not seek to organize, but rather to inhabit. Loops, sampling, vocal litanies, and fragments are accumulated, distorted, and recirculated within a post-genre electronic sound driven by a radically punk attitude. The result is a hypnotic and aggressive sound that captures something of the post-digital urban experience: the excess of signals, alienation, and the continuous construction and dissolution of identities.
